What are Sister of Hope Ministries' Core Values?
Sister of Hope Ministries is grounded in the interaction of the Greatest Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20), as enacted by the church with Great Compassion (Matthew 25:31-40)
How does God's vision shape the work of Sister of Hope Ministries?
Sister of Hope Ministries envisions a world in which people partner together to bridge socio-economic, racial and language differences in order to work to bring to reality God's vision of Shalom for All People. As Archbishop Desmond Tutu describes it, "The picture we have is of a creation at peace, abounding in harmony, unity and fellowship. This was God's intention for the entire universe because unity means peace, prosperity, fellowship, justice, wholeness, compassion, love and joy et al. conveyed in the virtually untranslatable Hebrew word Shalom."
What is the mission of Sister of Hope Ministries?
Sister of Hope Ministries exists to equip and support short-term mission teams, churches and non-profit organizations with training, resources and evaluation tools with the aim of enabling the faithful practice of Christian mission.
